NGC, NCS, PMG and ASG Accepting Submissions at Hong Kong Coin Show

Updated March 20, 2024. Submissions for the April PMG and ASG on-site grading events can be made at CCG Hong Kong’s booth (E5-E7). NGC, PMG and ASG will also be offering free coin, paper money and stamp evaluations.

Certified Collectibles Group – International Hong Kong Limited (CCG Hong Kong), the Hong Kong, China, affiliate of Numismatic Guaranty Company® (NGC®), Numismatic Conservation Services® (NCS®), Paper Money Guaranty® (PMG®) and Authenticated Stamp Guaranty® (ASG®), will accept PMG and ASG on-site grading submissions and regular NGC and NCS submissions at the Hong Kong Coin Show (HKCS), on April 12-14, 2024. (NGC will be conducting an on-site grading event the week prior to the HKCS. For more details, click here.) Experts from NGC, PMG and ASG will participate in a panel discussion, answer questions from collectors and provide free evaluations of coins, banknotes and stamps.

On-site Grading

Submissions for the PMG and ASG on-site grading events must be received by CCG Hong Kong by 12:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 14, 2024. Submissions can be made in person (by appointment only) or by mail to the PMG and ASG Hong Kong office or at CCG Hong Kong’s booth at the HKCS. CCG Hong Kong will endeavor to have all notes and stamps submitted for this event completed and ready for pick-up or return shipment starting Friday, April 19, 2024.

Submitting to NGC and NCS

Regular NGC and NCS submissions will also be accepted. (For more details on the NGC on-site grading event being held April 8-13, 2024, click here.) All regular submissions to NGC and NCS are shipped with insurance to the companies’ headquarters in Sarasota, Florida, for conservation and grading. After grading, collectibles are shipped with insurance to the companies’ Hong Kong office for pick up.

Completed submissions may be picked up at the Hong Kong office or shipped back to customers by prior arrangement.

HKCS Educational Seminar – CCG Roundtable of Experts

On Friday, April 12 from 12:00 to 1:00, several of the top experts from NGC, PMG and ASG will participate in a roundtable discussion about the companies’ authentication, grading and encapsulation services. The experts include:

  • Dave Camire, NCS President and NGC Finalizer
  • Ben Wengel, Senior Finalizer of World Coins
  • Chad Greenbach, Vice President of PMG Grading
  • Amy Dong, Director of Stamp Grading
  • Mateo Zhao, Senior Vice President of Business Development, Asia

The panel will be moderated by King L Chan, a noted Hong Kong numismatist and senior consultant to NGC. Audience members will have the opportunity to submit questions to be answered by the panel. This is a rare opportunity to learn from so many of CCG’s top experts all in one place!

Free NGC, PMG and ASG Evaluations

NGC, PMG and ASG will be conducting free evaluations during the following dates and times:

NGC Evaluations

  • Dave Camire, NCS President and NGC Finalizer, will be conducting free evaluations of modern coins.
  • Evaluations will be provided from 10:00 to 12:00 on Friday, April 12, 2024.



  • Ben Wengel, Senior Finalizer of World Coins, will be conducting free evaluations of vintage coins.
  • Evaluations will be provided from 10:00 to 12:00 on Friday, April 12, 2024.





PMG Evaluations

  • Chad Greenbach, Vice President of PMG Grading, will be conducting free evaluations of paper money.
  • Evaluations will be provided from 2:00 to 3:00 on Friday, April 12 and 10:00 to 12:00 on Saturday, April 13, 2024.





ASG Evaluations

  • Amy Dong, Director of Stamp Grading, will be conducting free evaluations of stamps.
  • Evaluations will be provided from 3:00 to 4:00 on Friday, April 12 and 10:00 to 12:00 on Sunday, April 14, 2024.




To ensure that we help as many people as possible, there is a limit of 5 coins, 5 banknotes and 5 stamps per person for the free evaluations. Evaluations are provided on a first-come, first-served basis.

Note: Because evaluations are performed in a show environment, as opposed to our standard grading environment (with proper lighting conditions and facilities), all opinions should be used only as a guide. The grading opinion may change after the coins, banknotes and stamps are submitted and evaluated at our office.
