Recapping CCG's Commitment to Collectors at the Hong Kong Coin Show

Certified Collectibles Group – International Hong Kong Limited (CCG Hong Kong), the Hong Kong, China, affiliate of Numismatic Guaranty Company® (NGC®), Numismatic Conservation Services™ (NCS®), Paper Money Guaranty® (PMG®) and Authenticated Stamp Guaranty® (ASG®) recently attended the Hong Kong Coin Show on April 12-14, 2024. CCG Hong Kong conducted on-site grading, plus company experts participated in a panel discussion, answered questions from collectors and provided free evaluations of coins, banknotes and stamps during the three-day event.

As part of the HKCS educational seminar, several CCG experts took part in a numismatic presentation and roundtable discussion about the companies’ authentication, grading and encapsulation services. Mateo Zhao, Senior Vice President of Business Development in Asia, opened the discussions with a welcome speech for Hong Kong Coin Show visitors before turning things over to Dave Camire, NCS President and NGC Finalizer, who shared details about the companies' grading process.

Jerry Lin, NGC Senior Grading Finalizer, shared further insights into the grading process through his "Joy of Grading" presentation before Mateo Zhao returned to speak about business cooperation within the numismatic community in Asia. The floor was then opened for questions that were moderated by King L. Chan, a noted Hong Kong numismatist and senior consultant to NGC.

In the video above, CCG experts take part in a roundtable discussion with audience members. Camire answers questions about coin grading; Chad Greenbach, Vice President of PMG Grading, speaks about grading banknotes and PMG's world-class services; and Amy Dong, Director of Stamp Grading, talks about ASG's services and the stamp grading process. The panel shared valuable insights into the hobby along with further information on the CCG companies’ third-party authentication, grading and encapsulation services.

NGC, PMG and ASG experts also provided free evaluations during the event. Camire conducted free evaluations of modern coins and Ben Wengel, Senior Finalizer of World Coins, conducted free evaluations of vintage coins. Meanwhile, Greenbach conducted free evaluations of paper money and Dong conducted free evaluations of stamps.
