CGC at Yancy Street Comics for Free Comic Book Day!

Yancy Street Comics in New Port Richey, FL is hosting a huge celebration for this year’s Free Comic Book Day, on May 6, 2006, and CGC will be on hand to witness all signings for the prestigious CGC Signature Series. The festivities began at noon, and a number of accomplished creators will be in attendance:

Admission is $6, which includes a great goodie bag with comics to get signed by the guests and an official comic art board for sketches! Yancy Street Comics will also be having their Annual Spring Cleaning sale that same day, so make sure to buy some extra comics to have signed for the prestigious CGC Signature Series label!

On Free Comic Book Day, participating comic book shops across North America and around the world give away comic books for free to anyone who comes into their stores. This event celebrates the independent comic book specialty stores, and their unique character and role within their communities.
