CGC and Wizard World to Support VetTix in Tulsa

Posted on 10/29/2014

CGC will make a donation to VetTix for every grading invoice accepted at Wizard World Tulsa, November 7–9.

Certified Guaranty Company (CGC) and Wizard World Inc. will be joining forces to support the Veteran Tickets Foundation (VetTix) during Wizard World Tulsa Comic Con, November 7–9.

CGC will make a donation to VetTix for every grading invoice accepted in Tulsa, the national nonprofit foundation that provides free event tickets to currently serving military, veterans and their family members, as well as the immediate families of those killed in action. CGC’s show staff will also proudly swap their standard show attire for VetTix gear to help drive awareness for the foundation and its mission of “Giving Something to Those Who Gave.”

“Veterans have touched the lives of everyone at CGC,” said CGC Primary Grader, Paul Litch. “We are grateful to be able to give something back to those who have given all of us so much.”

Wizard World will provide VetTix with complimentary tickets to the show, which will give one lucky and deserving family the chance to enjoy the first event ever in the Tulsa market for the leading comic con tour.

"We are pleased to be working with CGC in honoring veterans through the VetTix foundation," said John Macaluso, Wizard World CEO. "It is because of the service of these brave men and women that fans can enjoy great events like Wizard World Tulsa Comic Con and the many others that VetTix supports. We are proud to help this important program."

Founded in 2008, VetTix supports all branches of the US military community and has distributed over 1 million tickets across all 50 states. In addition to providing free tickets to comic cons, VetTix distributes tickets to sporting events, concerts, the performing arts and family activities, with the goal of improving mental welfare and enriching the lives of military service members and veterans.
