Numismatic Guaranty Corporation® (NGC®), Numismatic Conservation Services® (NCS®) and Paper Money Guaranty® (PMG®) will attend the Hong Kong Coin Show (HKCS) at The Mira Hotel and the Hong Kong International Coin Convention (HICC) at the Holiday Inn Golden Mile, both held April 6-8, 2018, in Hong Kong, China.

The companies will offer the following services in conjunction with these shows:

PMG On-site Grading

Note: Due to overwhelming demand, PMG is no longer accepting submissions for on-site grading in Hong Kong, China. All HKCS and HICC submissions received as of this date will be sent to PMG Headquarters in the US for an expedited turnaround.

PMG is performing on-site authentication, grading and encapsulation of paper money in Hong Kong, China through April 7, 2018. This is the first time PMG has offered on-site grading in Hong Kong, China. Space is limited, and PMG expects it will have to cut off on-site submissions early due to high demand. On-site grading submissions will be handled on a first-come, first-served basis.

If you would like your notes to be included in the on-site grading event, you must write "On-site Grading" on the PMG Hong Kong (China) Submission Form. For submissions that cannot be done on-site, the estimated turnaround time is three weeks (not including shipping time).

All submissions received by NGC, NCS and PMG are shipped with insurance to the companies’ headquarters in the US for grading and, if requested, conservation. After grading, coins and notes are shipped with insurance to the companies’ Hong Kong office for pickup in China. All submissions must be picked up at the Hong Kong office in China.

PMG submissions will receive an expedited turnaround time of three weeks (not including shipping time). Submitters can also choose to have their notes graded by PMG on-site in Hong Kong, China, space permitted (see details above).

Representatives from NGC, NCS and PMG will also be available to answer questions and explain the benefits of NGC, NCS and PMG.

The following services will be offered only at the HKCS:

Free NGC and PMG Evaluations

David J. Camire, NCS President and NGC Finalizer, will be conducting free evaluations of coins. Evaluations will be provided 10:00 to 12:00 and 14:00 to 17:00 on April 6, and 10:00 to 12:00 and 15:30 to 17:00 April 7.

Rick Stelzer, a PMG Grading Consultant, will be conducting free evaluations of paper money. Evaluations will be provided 10:00 to 12:00 and 14:00 to 17:00, April 6 and April 7.

To ensure that we help as many people as possible, there is a limit of 10 coins or notes per person for the free evaluations. Evaluations are provided on a first-come, first-served basis.

Note: Because evaluations are performed in a show environment, as opposed to our standard grading environment (with proper lighting conditions and facilities), all opinions should be used only as a guide. The grading opinion may change after the coins or notes are submitted and evaluated at our office.
