PMG Registry News

Annual awards and notes from China and Poland are among the latest news from the PMG Registry.

The July 13th annual award deadline has passed, and now our panel of judges is hard at work reviewing so many interesting PMG Registry sets. Each year, PMG recognizes outstanding achievement in Registry set building. Awards will be presented to five outstanding PMG Registry sets selected by a team of experts at PMG. Overall quality, balance and completion, in addition to Registry score, will all be important considerations when judging sets.

Winners will receive a personalized plaque, an icon of recognition next to their set’s registry listing and a $500 PMG Grading Credit! Due to the continuous expansion of remarkable sets, the judges have their work cut out for them this year! Thank you for your continued participation and investment in the PMG Registry.

As we look ahead to next year’s awards, we plan on expanding further into new set types and categories. Are there other PMG Registry sets that you would like to see offered? Our goal is to meet your note collecting needs, so please continue to reach out with your suggestions.

Meanwhile, we have a few new PMG Registry set additions to mention for this month:

Due to the annual award deadline, we had a temporary freeze on adding new slots to competitive PMG Registry sets. Now that the award deadline has passed, we will begin adding slots that have been requested. Do you have any new slots that you would like added? Just shoot us an email about it.

We will also be adding a slot to the Poland Registry for this newly announced note from the Bank of Poland. This 20 Zlotych note will be issued beginning August 31, 2018 in commemoration of the 100th Anniversary of Poland’s independence.
