NGC and NCS Announce Revised Services and Fees for 2019

NGC and NCS have announced a few service and fee changes for regular US and world coin submissions, effective January 1, 2019.

Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC) and Numismatic Conservation Services (NCS) have made a number of customer-friendly changes to their submission forms, fees and tier requirements for 2019. Collectors and dealers will benefit from more flexible submission options that present new savings opportunities. A full list of changes for submissions to the US office are listed below:

NCS Conservation Services Changes

  • NCS Gold and Modern Conservation services updated to remove NGC grading. Fees reduced.

NGC Grading Tiers and Services

  • Unlimited Value WalkThrough tier - $250 + 1% FMV
  • WalkThrough tier - $150
  • Early Bird/Standard tier - $35
  • Specialty Gold tier - $35
  • Gold tier - $30
  • Modern tier - $17
  • NGC Oversize Holder fee - $20
  • Oversize ReHolder fee - $20
  • NGC Photo Vision fee - $8
  • Handling Fee - $10

An updated submission form and price sheet reflecting these changes will be available in January on the NGC website. All coins received by NGC after January 1, 2019, should be accompanied by the new submission form. Note: US and world coins must still be submitted on separate forms.
