PMG Registry — Featured India Set

Posted on 12/17/2019

This month’s featured set belongs to MKMITTAL79.

For those collectors who are new to us, welcome!

Every month, we feature a different PMG Registry set in our monthly news. The set we feature may be created by a new member who has just started to build his or her collection with care and detail, or a longtime collector who has invested time and effort in presenting his or her notes.

Have you added interesting, personal comments to your set descriptions and for each of your notes? Have you taken time to upload quality photos to complement your PMG notes? If so, you may be chosen for next month’s feature!

This month, we feature a carefully compiled variety set presented by MKMITTAL79. The thought-provoking collection, Government of India, 1917-1930 Issue, P1-P13 can be seen here.

India/British Administration
Pick# 7b ND (1917-1930) 10 Rupees
PMG 658 Choice About Uncirculated

Initiated in September 2018, this set has been slowly expanding until it now is an impressive 68% complete. MKMITTAL79 includes numismatic references in the set description and offers an interesting look at the political, economic and cultural influences behind the notes printed during this time. This collector invested the time to post comments and images for all 32 notes.

We appreciate the attention to detail and look forward to further updates in this India PMG Registry set. Keep up the good work, MKMITTAL79!

Remember, the winners of the 2019 PMG Registry Awards will be announced on January 10, 2020.
