CGC Announces First Series of 2020 Marvel Labels

Posted on 1/31/2020

Check out the first Marvel label releases of 2020!

Certified Guaranty Company® (CGC®) has just announced four brand new Marvel® certification labels. These are the first Marvel label releases of 2020 and showcase Carnage, Venom, Wolverine and Deadpool separately on their own labels. Custom labels are a great way for collectors to highlight their collection and adorn their CGC holders with the characters they love.

These labels will be available through the CGC online submission form on February 14th, and first available for show submissions at Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo (C2E2) on February 28th. Customers can submit their books for On-Site Grading at C2E2 and be among the first to receive their books encapsulated with the new labels.

Each label will be offered in Universal (blue) and Signature Series (yellow) label formats for an additional $5 fee. The labels can be selected for any Marvel book that is submitted for CGC’s grading or re-holder services through the online submission form.

The first series of Marvel labels was released last year at C2E2, with additional labels released throughout 2019. Most of the 2019 Marvel labels were retired at the end of the year, making room for new releases in 2020. The NYC Spidey and Hulk Smash labels will continue to be available while supplies last this year.

Please note: Submissions that have already been received cannot be adjusted.
