Every month, we feature a new PMG Registry set in our monthly news. The set we feature may be created by a new member who has just started to build his collection with care and detail or by a veteran collector who has invested time and effort in presenting his notes.

This month, we offer a comprehensive and thoughtfully presented set by Thomas Parke D'Invilliers found in the PMG Registry here. This popular set category, People's Bank of China, People's Republic, 1953-Date, P860-Date, Type Set, has 37 competing sets and 47 slots and is still growing! Thomas has stepped up to the challenge with an impressive 74% completion thus far! Started in 2017, his set has slowly grown and Thomas continues to upgrade his notes now in 2020. With 70 uploaded images, Thomas' slideshow offers an artistic, visual history of China spanning almost 75 years. Take the time to view this impressive collection here.

Thomas has clearly spent time researching his collection with comments for every note. Upon reading, you will discover his interesting references to printing techniques and a focus on serial numbers with the number 8, significant in Chinese culture as a symbol of wealth, good fortune, and happiness.

Thank you, Thomas, for sharing your knowledge, your passion and your noteworthy PMG collection. We look forward to seeing what updates you will have next!
