A Malaysia, Bank Negara 2007 50 Ringgit graded by PMG realized six figures in the March Trigometric Auction.

A Malaysian banknote certified by Paper Money Guaranty® (PMG®) realized six figures at a Trigometric Auction that took place March 27-28, 2021 — double its presale estimate.

The highly anticipated Malaysia, Bank Negara 2007 50 Ringgit graded PMG 66 Gem Uncirculated EPQ with Serial Number 1 (lot 837) was a highlight of the sale, realizing RM600,000 (about $145,200 USD). Only 20,000 of these notes were issued, and the low serial number made this note particularly desirable.
