Online bidding is now underway for the Künker Münzauktionen und Goldhandel June sale.

Impressive vintage European coins certified by Numismatic Guaranty Corporation® (NGC®) are featured in a sale presented by Künker Münzauktionen und Goldhandel, a renowned auction house in Germany. Online bidding is now open for Auction 350, being held June 29 to July 1, 2021.

Among the most anticipated coins in the sale is an Austrian Netherlands 1751 10 Souverain d'or graded NGC MS 61 (lot 5) with an estimate of €100,000 (about $123,000 USD). The Austrian Netherlands existed during the period in which the Habsburgs were in control of the Southern Netherlands (which includes much of modern Belgium).

This Austria Netherland 1751 10 Sovereign d'or is expected to realize more than $100,000.

The obverse of this rare coin features a bust of Francis I, who ruled as Holy Roman Emperor from 1745 to 1765. The reverse of the coin features a crowned double-headed eagle.

Two more coins that are sure to be of interest to collectors both celebrate the end of a war that devastated much of Europe during the late 1600s. A German States 1698 Nurnberg 5 Ducats graded NGC MS 61 (lot 466) and a German States 1698 Nurnberg 6 Ducats graded NGC MS 62 (lot 465) both have estimates of €75,000 (about $92,000 USD) each.
