The money will go to the nonprofit to benefit its worthy cause.

The KultureCity Auction, presented by Heritage Auctions and featuring many collectibles graded by Certified Guaranty Company® (CGC®), raised a grand total of $16,789 for the charity. The money will go directly towards helping KultureCity’s mission of creating sensory accessibility and inclusion for those with invisible disabilities.

The most sought after collectible was a Star Wars: Thrawn #1 graded CGC 9.8 (CGC Universal Mattina Variant Cover) that sold for $2,200. Other top tier collectibles were a Transformers #1 graded CGC 9.8 (CGC Signature Series signed by Peter Cullen and Frank Welker) that realized $950 and a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin #1 graded CGC 9.9 (CGC Signature Series signed by Kevin Eastman) that went for $701.

“CGC is honored to have been part of this special auction for this deserving cause,” said Harshen Patel, Vice President of CGC. “We believe in KultureCity’s mission and know that the funds from this auction will be put to good use.”

Last year, CGC created a custom label for KultureCity that is still available to the public for CGC Universal (blue) and Signature Series (yellow) submissions. It features the KultureCity logo and slogan, “Make the nevers possible,” with a vibrant watercolor background that conveys sensory accessibility and inclusion. For every label sold, 100% of the proceeds will go directly to KultureCity.
