This coveted designation is unique to NGC and identifies coins that are superior in appearance to more typical coins of the same grade.

1/15/2002 - (Santa Monica, CA) Ted Binion's fabled collection including over 100,000 high quality U.S. silver dollars has been sold for over three million dollars. Goldline International, Inc. (Goldline.com) of Santa Monica, California has been appointed its exclusive worldwide marketing agent by the purchaser with some coins to be sold in auction.

12/15/2001 - Numismatic Guaranty Corporation has graded and encapsulated the rare and historic set of United States proof coins presented to the King of Siam in 1836. Consisting of nine denominations ranging from half cent to eagle, this amazing proof set has been known to numismatics only since 1962, when it surfaced in England.

8/19/2000 - To the delight of coin collectors NGC has certified what error coin specialists are calling "the find of the millennium," a dollar muling error of a Statehood quarter obverse and a Sacagawea reverse. The coin surfaced in a roll of Sacagawea dollars purchased by a collector from his local bank in Arkansas.

2/10/2000 -
